Overall I feel that through this module i have engaged with my practice outside of uni, not as much as I had liked to, however I have most definitely gained something from doing this. For placement, I emailed a few companies and agencies, however I was not successful in receiving more than a weeks placement. However, I do have some freelance work already booked for the month of june, creating a live art piece based on my illustrative extended practice brief, which I am really looking forward to creating; hopefully this allows me to continue with my practice externally, as well as working at my current job. Indent feel that I am ready to jump straight into the graphic design world, therefore if I am amble to get more commissioned work after the one already planned, I will hopefully be able to build up my portfolio and constantly refresh the work that is seen, both my experience and confidence will build up. Confidence is one of my main restraints, I am never overly thrilled with the work I produce even though I receive positive feedback in crits and showing the final deliverables to my peers, but if I am able to gain experience in a working environment (freelance to begin with) I think that this will improve greatly.
I feel thoughout PPP I have been able to complete what I initially set out to do at the beginning of the academic year, through exploration of different processes and methods.
I am happy with the progression from level four to level 6 that I can clearly prove through documentation on my blog and my portfolio.
